About

This site has been through many editors and moderators over the past 2+ years, starting with Erin and Jessica as a junior year project. The following school year, it was a senior year project for Erin and Lily and a junior, Kyra, joined us. Currently it is just me, Erin, posting when I can during my freshman year at Virginia Tech. I hope you enjoy our site, and I would love hearing from all of you šŸ˜€

We are based in Northern Virginia. My research partner and I are studying sustainable fashion for the school year and this blog is part of that. At this point we don’t have any established classes, but we plan on compiling many more ideas and personal projects on this blog šŸ™‚

We will definately be putting up pictures from the workshop onto the blog, and we will definately put our presentation that we’re giving at the beginning on, so you can join us from London that way.

hey, i’m searching for books and information about people in developing countries which make “fashion in any direction” out of trash. While searching i found your site, great! I’m studying fashion design in germany and i need information about trash-work from developing countries, as mentioned above. If you could help me i would be very happy and on the way to get more people to think!
